Junior Achievement USA
Junior Achievement USA is one of the largest and most impactful nonprofit organizations dedicated to youth education in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and career readiness. It partners with schools, businesses, and volunteers to provide hands-on programs for students from elementary through high school.
General Information
Volunteer in your local community for various tasks such as mentoring younger students, teaching JA lessons to elementary school classrooms, and shadowing professionals and help run career events. You’ll often be trained to deliver interactive lessons to younger students on topics like money, jobs, and business.
Eligibility
Typically requires students to be 14-18 years old and be currently enrolled in high school. Some roles may require parental consent and/or high school approval. Participants must be willing to complete short training sessions and follow lesson materials. JA provides all training and teaching materials and service hour documentation.
