Telluride Association Summer Program

General Information
This is a 6-week residential program at Cornell University and University of Maryland. This program focuses on humanities by offering two main tracks: Critical Black Studies and Anti-Oppressive Studies. Each weekday includes a 3 hour seminar and other academic related activities.

Eligibility
This program is available to both international and U.S. students. Applicants must be rising juniors or seniors (ages 15-18 as of the start of the program). With such a competitive program, the selectivity is low at 3-5% acceptance rates.

Application Process
The application opens in October. The application includes a high school transcript, two letters of recommendation (one from a teacher and one from mentor or counselor), 3-4 short and long essays which are the core of the application, and demographic background. The application is due in early December. The finalists must schedule an interview.

Regularly listed among the top free and competitive summer programs by education experts, counselors, and college prep organizations. Alumni often go on to attend top-tier colleges and universities such as Harvard, Yale, Princeton, MIT, and Stanford. Considered by many elite colleges as a mark of exceptional academic and civic promise.
