General Information

This is a 7-week highly selective program hosted at a top university that is dedicated to empowering high-achieving low-income students through a variety of different classes and ongoing tutoring and support after the program. The program follows with others for specific career paths.

Eligibility

Must be a U.S. high school junior that has some form of U.S. citizenship. Students must have an unweighted GPA of 3.6 with enrollment in advanced coursework. Household income must be under $90,000/year.

Application Process

The first part is an application containing written responses, basic info, transcripts, and test scores and this is due in early-September. The next round is a supplemental questionnaire that narrows candidates academics, leadership, and fit in January to February. The final round is a personal interview structured similarly is to college-level interviews in February to March.

Impact & Recognition

36% of scholars attend Ivy League schools and 86% attend "most competitive" universities. Over 90% of participants achieve six-year college graduation. Continues to impact scholars after the completion of the program with ongoing coaching, test prep, essay support, and leadership development.
