General Information
This 3-week virtual summer program introduces high school seniors to computer science through project-based learning, coding workshops, and mentorship from Google engineers. Students work in teams to build real applications while learning Python, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and Google tools. The experience includes guest speakers, college readiness support, and an inclusive environment for beginners in CS.

Eligibility
Applicants must be graduating high school seniors (rising college freshmen) who are U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or DACA recipients and plan to enroll in a 4-year U.S. college as a CS or related major. The program prioritizes students from underrepresented or historically marginalized backgrounds in tech, including women, Black, Latinx, and Native American students. No prior computer science experience is required.

Application Process
Applications typically open in February and require short essays, transcripts, and basic information about college plans; no test scores or recommendations are needed. The deadline usually falls in March, and decisions are announced in late spring. There are no interview rounds, and students can select preferred session dates when applying.
