General Information

This is a 6-week residential summer program  that focuses on STEM enrichment through hands-on workshops, team projects, and college-prep activities. Students participate in advanced math and science classes, career exploration sessions, and leadership development.

Eligibility

Applicants must be rising juniors or seniors enrolled in U.S. high schools and demonstrate financial need. The program targets students from underrepresented or underserved backgrounds in STEM and those who have strong academic potential and interest in math and science.

Application Process

Applications typically open in the late fall and require transcripts, essays, recommendation letters, and proof of financial need. The deadline is usually in early spring, and decisions are communicated by late spring. There are no additional interview rounds.

SAMS is a well-respected program known for its supportive environment that helps underrepresented students excel in STEM fields.
